CT5-V Reluctant to change oil despite 0% life remaining

Change your oil. Turbo motors need clean fresh oil if you want the turbos to last. We have a pair of ATS-V'S, and depending on the use, they may get changed with 40-50% life left. One has 70k miles and the other 35k miles.

I know they are different, but my point is that you cannot quantify the difference.

Watch the TPC code for replacement tires

I'll lay money down that you can't tell the difference between a specific TPC spec and any other TPC spec on your car. We run several different tires on our cars, and after competing in cars since 1973, I can't tell the difference. Maybe on a track where you can time small differences in speed...

    Unfortunate new owner

Too bad you bought a used lemon. What I can tell you is that we have two ATS-V "sleds", and they will walk that Mustake GT. Just because you had bad luck, it doesn't mean everyone has the same experience. We have no trouble with any of our cars and they are both heavily modified.

reasons I think (unfortunately) our Blackwing-5's won't be the 'collector cars' with huge resale over time some think.....

Except you don't put down almost 700 hp. 624 at the wheels is what I've seen on a GM Authority video. 700 crank maybe. Our ATS-V's are making 630 and ~700 whp.

Much like our ATS-V's. They only made a hair more than 4000 during the 4 year run.

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

We have 65k on the wife's 2016 ATS-V sedan with Turbobay turbos, and 25k on my 2017 coupe, and absolutely no engine issues. I do have trans issues with both cars with the 1-2 shift some times. My 2017 had the trans flushed early on, so I'm a little surprised to be having issues with that one. I...

We don't drive our cars if it's less than 40 degrees outside. Both have PS4S's on them.

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

We own two ATS-V's, a 2017 coupe and a 2016 sedan. No issues with either car other than the carbon fiber is coming off the passenger door on my coupe. The sedan has ~60k miles and the coupe 22k and both cars are heavily modified. I run Mobil 1 in both cars and have no issues with it. Change...
