The Keyloc automatically detects frequency response and delays through a 12 step process. It's done with three audio files. You download the Lossless WAV files to a USB drive to direct play them. The first file is used to set the input gain via finding the clipping point and dialing it back...
I installed a Kicker Keyloc and took out the LC2i. The programming is difficult with the way the head unit in the car works. I can explain more if someone needs the info.
How long did the hoses last? I've had mine for about 12 years. I need to purchase the adapter, but can't decide on metal or plastic. I used a plastic one on my previous car without issues.
I think it's pretty quick. I agree with the storage issues. I have mine on the walls. The problem is getting them down. I have the 7000TLX model, so they weigh 100lbs each. Not easy to lift the full weight and maneuver it to the ground. Once on the ground, the added ball bearings make it easy to...
Everything I have read states that the AKG amp tuning has bass roll off. As the volume goes up, it starts to reduce output around 60hz and gets more aggressive around 40hz. This is inline with what I am hearing from the subwoofer. I had this subwoofer installed in my previous car with a smaller...
It's interesting that GM doesn't have this listed. I wonder if this is similar to the differential fluid and track use. The manual talks about changing at 1500 based on track usage, not street usage for the rear differential. TREMEC might recommend 1500 thinking that people could be pushing...
I've been researching the LC2i more. It sounds like AccuBASS is useless if you tap the subwoofer. It needs to see all frequencies to evaluate the loss in bass. Does anyone know if the factory system rolls off bass at higher volume?
I got my enclosure/setup finished. Did you tap into the speakers or subwoofer? I have the LC2i with Accubass. It is supposed to add bass if the head unit cuts the bass at a higher volume. I believe it needs to sense all frequencies. I have it tapped into the Subwoofer and it's acting weird with...
Just finished getting my subwoofer installed. It took months to get the fiberglass enclosure installed. I just don't have much time on the weekends. The LC2i Accubass is finicky. I have it basically disabled right now. I might try something like the Kicker Keyloc in the future.
I used the LC2i. It has a signal sense and turns on based on the signal from the speakers. I might look at fuses in the future, this seems to work for now.
I found that after you wipe/reinsert, you need to rotate it. Then you can see a good line all the way around. I have been surprised at how clean the oil stays considering it's DI/turbo. Dirtier oil would make it easier to read.
Has anyone tried an RV water filter? I've read they work, but am a little skeptical. I have a new one from a previous RV. If I get time, I'll test it this weekend.
Sorry to hear. I thought I posted earlier about the TLX model. I purchased the 7000TLX last year based on my measurements.
The Quickjacks aren't that universal. I bought the 7000 series thinking I could use it on all three vehicles (SUV, Truck, and BW). It works fine on my longer Ram 1500, but...
I put a crack in my front floor console trim piece trying to remove it.
I'm installing the Rockford Fosgate remote control. I tried to run it up the center of the car. The plastics on this car are a pain. Running wires is always an issue.
