A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

I'm with you there and my wife knows where my guns are. Great news on oil consumption also. Have you figured out how to clean the intercooler radiators yet?

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

I wonder if the cold turbo rattle is just a waste gate rattle. Is this an issue with the V-Sport / Vsport cars as well or just the ATS V? All three of my cars are keyless. Guess we've gotten accustomed to them and expect them. The 2011 V has a twist start knob like it had a key in it but the...

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Epb My CTS V has the electric parking brake - never thought about doing a "hand brake" turn so that's not an issue. The EPB can be used to keep the car on a hill and not worry about rolling backward between releasing the brakes and getting the clutch out - it automatically releases when the...

Warning! CTS V Wagon for an ATS V coupe!

That would put three hotrods in the garage again and the wife isn't interested in doing that again. Besides, our regular ATS sedan is AWD and is generally drivable in the winter here.

Warning! CTS V Wagon for an ATS V coupe!

Since we have a "regular" ATS 2.0T sedan in the garage that can haul just about everything we need to haul, I suggested we sell the V Wagon and buy an ATS V coupe. She said "That would be the day the earth stood still!" She may be right. I really love the V Wagon but I keep thinking how much...

That doesn't fit on the license plate! And it ignores the C63 AMG and the Audi Sx cars.

CASPER comes to mind - that was Susan's suggestions. Ghost V hits me a little. My first V was black and I called it DARTH-V but your ATS is white. Can't come up with anything else at the moment.

News: Spoiler Alert: World Challenge At Mazda Raceway

Ferraris finished first and second this weekend but neither were driven by Berretta. Andy finished 4th and Johnny finished a not so great 12th. But Berretta finished 4 laps down in 28th. Giving Johnny O'Connell his fourth straight driver's championship in the World Challenge. YEAHA!!!!! :rocker:

    First Trophy!

After 4+ years, my V Wagon brought home a trophy at a car show. Of course it helped that it was probably the only car in the class - "2010 to present general car" I'll take it anyway - A win is a win.

You need your 'beauty rest!' The delay is shipping your V to you is ridiculous. But, what can you do about it? Go back to sleep and dream of Danica driving your car naked.

World Challenge - final race coming up

I read the World Challenge news this morning and noted that Berretta in the Ferrari are toping the time charts in practice for this weekends race. Over the last couple of race weekends, Johnny O has taken the points lead over Berretta, so Berretta needs a good weekend to take the championship...

    Spoioiler alert

In case you didn't notice, Johnny O won both races at the Miller Motorsports park last weekend with Andy finishing 7th and 5th in each race. These wins push Johnny closer to the points lead in the World Challenge series.

That sucks! Is there still a shortage of rail cars to transport them? I've had good luck getting my special order cars. It's a real shame that you are having so much trouble.

Welcome! I've left my V stock except for the K&N filter and Pilot Supersport tires. Enjoy!

Help! Insurance? Stated Value? Collector car?

Just wondering if any with a V Wagon has insured it with a 'stated value' or collector car insurance policy? The V Wagon is pretty rare as V's go and stick shift Wagons even rarer. Since Cadillac has shown no interest in building a third generation CTS Wagon (V or otherwise), replacing a V...

*****UNOFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT***** LS, LT Engines To Be Phased Out in 2022

If GM has a business case for phasing out the push-rod V8 engine and going with something else, I'm sure they will do it. Not much we'll be able to do about it either way. In the meantime, the small block Chevy has created the biggest bang for the buck in automotive engines for a long time...

Should have checked the Museum delivery box - Oh wait a minute, they don't do museum delivery of Cadillacs. They should. I hope they don't have it strapped to an oil tanker somewhere.
