I think that you are missing the entire point here. It is the complete lack of communication from GM's supposedly flagship brand, Cadillac and now their flagship model, Blackwing. I guess as a buyer of many brands over the years, both small and large, I expect more than we are getting in regards...
Yes, absolutely agree. But why not notify the customer and offer up a alternative? Especially in light of the fact that you can order these seats WITHOUT the carbon backs for 2023 model year. It could easily go something like this...
Hello Mr Cadillac dealer, This is Joe Blow with Cadillac...
I'm an old guy, been through a lot in my life and this is absolutely the biggest cluster-fu*k I've ever been part of. While I realise that this is very small in the big picture of first world problems it is still very frustrating to us folks just trying to get our car. In one week it will be 15...

My car is finally built! Hope to have it shipped to my dealer soon. Some of you have had yours a while. Any further feedback on the AKG sound system is appreciated. Thanks.
So for me the selling point is the Manual Transmission, In 2020 I purchased a new BMW M5 Comp and loved it........except it was a bit boring to drive, even with the paddle shifters. Current M3/M4 are a bit too ugly and harsh for me. If I could get a current new M5 with a manual, I would own one...
