Thank you so much for this info. My daughter cracked up her cr-v a couple of weeks ago. she spun out on the highway in a snowstorm did a 180 and ended up at the center median with airbags deployed. she was fine and didn't hit anyone. However she sustained some serious damage. at least one...

Makes me wonder if California considered the loss of revenue they will receiving from speeding tickets.

GM Press Release: Introducing the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing

The typhoon green makes me think about getting a new one. However my 23 only has 2200 miles after 15 months. I just can't see getting into the rodeo again just for a color, let alone the additional money..

Spring Mountain car pool Jan 16-18?

The instructors don't recommend going more than 9 over.

Dealers That Are Not Charging Above MSRP

Heritage is a great dealer. I got mine from them as well. Very easy to work with and MSRP.

    Dealer Vent

I had multiple issues at delivery. All 4 wheels were scratched by the car carrier. For various reasons it took almost 3 weeks with my car at the dealer for them to get fixed. I had to go back to the dealer 3 days after delivery because their temp finance guy didn't fill out some of the...

    CT5-V Theft Attempt

When I took my Lexus in for service over the summer for its first annual checkup they told me they would replace the remote battery as part of the service. I assumed (my mistake) that it would be free of charge. My old Honda dealer always replaced my Odyssey remote batteries free of charge. I...

    m340i to 4 Blackwing...why?

As my blackwing wound up getting shipped from Lansing the clutch went out on my 2013 535i. $4,200 to replace both clutch and flywheel at 76,000 miles. I felt that was a bit steep on a 9 year old car.

    The future Blackwing

Taking this for what it is worth. Spring mountain has a contract with Cadillac thru 2028. No idea if that means more blackwings or maybe racing electric vehicles in the future.

    Separating CT4-V CT5-V CT6-V Blackwings

That is what drew me to this board. After that I stayed for the scintillating conversations. A10 bad, M6 good. LOL.

    Heater Ticking Sound

A couple of weeks ago I went to take out my bw. It was lightly sprinkling out. I didn't even get out of my driveway. I pulled it right back in and took my other car. I didn't want to get the black car dirty and have to wash it in the cold weather.

    Media dumps

I stalled mine the night I bought it. I wound up having to do a 3 point turn. That is challenging by itself in a 5BW with the huge turning radius, but when you add an unfamiliar new clutch that only has a couple dozen shifts up until that point......

    Kill switch in 2026

My kids all learned on an old Honda Odyssey. It definitely couldn't handle the curbs the same as the jeep or pickup. One of my kids jumped a curb and lightly hit a tree without causing damage to the tree. However it messed up the wheels and alignment. It had to go into the shop after that...

    Kill switch in 2026

I believe it is called sharing the road. Let the faster people pass and then you can move back over. When my kids were taking drivers ed they were all told to avoid being a traffic block by staying in the left lane and allow faster cars to pass.

    Kill switch in 2026

Agreed. If you are in the left lane with a line of traffic behind you and nobody in front of you - you NEED to move over.

    This was weird.

I have a small 2 car garage with limited space on each side. If I back in I can almost get almost next to the wall and still be able to get out the drivers door without crawling over the stick shift and passengers seat. All about egress as you get older...

    This was weird.

That is the same reason I had my installed in the trunk. I back it and put it all the way against the wall to give more space for the snowblower on the other side. I put on the car cover and it keeps the trunk lid mostly closed for the winter.
