    Spring Mountain- Track insurance?

Sounds like my local track, Pacific Raceways!

    Blackwing Constraints Tracker

Yikes, I hope you can dodge the salt prep on the way home.

    Spring Mountain- Track insurance?

I think it depends on your experience. If you're a novice, you're going to be driving with the same and maybe the insurance is worth it. For experienced drivers, I'm having a hard time imagining a scenario where the cost is warranted (did have someone spin a 4BW in front of me last time I was...

Car won't go into reverse or drive

Not specific to Cadillac, but in my experience this is often a simple solenoid (also check your fuse block in the manual to see if there is a specific fuse to test.)

    CT5-V TPC PS4S

I've got to check those item #s against my prior orders but it looks like Costco might have the TPC tires again.

Loaded 4BWs don't make sense to me

Agreed. I suspect given lead times, these dealers ordered loaded 4s under the 'You want them and only we can get them mentality of 2022!" The market has changed drastically since then due to interest rates.

    CT5-V TPC PS4S

Interesting. I don't know if it's timing or location (e.g., I think my local Costco called a Michelin disti in Ohio.)

    CT5-V TPC PS4S

No, the factory tire is the TPC tire. There's a TPC code on your original tires that came with the car. For those having problems finding them, I just received another set last month via Costco. Even when you can't find them in the configurator, you can always go to their local tire center...

Paint nub issues and panel misalignments

If it's in the base coat, I'd try to lemon the car but hold onto it until a replacement shows up.

    Road Trash

Based on C&D (?), seems deer have it out for Blackwings!

CT5-V Oil change for ct5V BW

That looks like it. The oil filters are a good bit cheaper in bulk of 6 or 8 as I recall. No oddities changing the oil and if you like doing it yourself, I'd suggest the Fumoto plug valve to make it even easier for future jobs (and grab the optional hose to insure a drip free experience.)

    V-mode best time 0-60

For the PDR, there's only one specific overlay that records 0-60. If you didn't select it by default you can't add it after recording something. For the in-dash 0-60, I need to check...back later.

    Aero Info

I saw that number a couple of years ago somewhere...I recall being underwhelmed for the 5BW (I think I recall the 4BW generation more DF with its aero.)

Anyone rolling a Black Diamond Tricoat Blackwing yet?

Looking forward to seeing it in person. I didn't like the non-metallic aspect of the black paint on my prior V3 and current 5BW.

    The future Blackwing

In all fairness to GM, what killed that car is the general death of the sedan to the cross-over and the fact that the Omega platform was too premium for the remaining market (dying due to cross-overs and EVs on the horizon.)

    CT5-V 5BW OE wheel locks

Ordered them with my car along with ordering locking lugs. However, the black ones didn't ship with the car, so I ended up with standard silver locking nuts. When the dealer got the black ones, it was a fight for them to not have to pay a separate charge for the additional 4 locking black...

    Cadillac V-Club

I belong to the NW chapter covering the Seattle (and broader) area. They have quarterly events (track events, scenic cruises, car shows, etc.), holiday party, sponsor discounts (e.g., 15% off Michelin tires from authorized retailers), etc.. I also have BMW CCA and I've only held onto it in...

    Separating CT4-V CT5-V CT6-V Blackwings

Could be, probably condition based which makes sense. I didn't notice at.Spring Mountain nor my local track which is significantly faster.

    Separating CT4-V CT5-V CT6-V Blackwings

I prefer the term 'track-focused' :) I prefer my A10 for the track and have other cars including a manual if I get the itch for something else.

    Heater Ticking Sound

I drive in the 40s all the time here and haven't heard this one with 30k miles on the odometer.
