That's wonderful. Won't be long now.

    Finally a V owner!

Glad you like your V1! I owned an '04 V1 for 6 years and really liked it. Back then, people didn't know what it was so it was a real surprise when I jumped on someone. The only issues I had with my V1 were the tires and the rear differential bushing. I ate up a couple of sets of the...

    Damn thing won't start!

Welcome to the V-Net! Sorry to hear about the no start problem. I've never seen anything like that. Wish I had a answer for you. Shooting in the dark: - Have you checked the battery volts? - How about disconnecting the battery for a bit then rebooting the computers?

Not So Fast! The live race has been cancelled due to rain. So, CBSS is showing yesterday's race. Better than waiting a week or two to see it but.....

I'm thinking an airboat! Forecast is for sunny weather the next week. That would be nice. There's no place left for more rain to go.

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Too bad, I was sorta hoping of putting an LS7 ATS next to my LS7 Vert - if I could afford it. Love the LS7 motor!!!!!

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

The CTS V2 is the same - No runflats and the inflation kit. Lucky for me, the sedan and wagon have a spare tire well. I bought a spare tire kit with jack and lug wrench just in case. The Volt was the same - inflation kit, no spare. Our regular ATS is the same. Given the MagRide shock...

spoiler alert! PWC Belle Isle Race 1

Andy's streak of bad luck continued in Detroit today when the engine gave up on him. The grid was set by points due to a red flag during most of qualifying. Johnny O started fifth and finished fourth behind a McLaren, a Ferrari, and a Bentley. Race 2 report later.

    Front Belly pan

My concern with something like this is that it may be stronger than it should be. If the new pan doesn't give easily when you hit a curb, it could cause a lot more damage that the original pan. Just saying....

    Front Belly pan

Nice. What if you curb it? How will it stand up and is it easily fixed?

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Given that the new Camaro has a version of the ATS chassis and will definitely get a V8, I would assume that the V8 would fit in the ATS as well. My guess is that Cadillac wants to show case the V6TT in the ATS and, just maybe, the V6TT package gives them more flexibility in the Pirelli World...

    Regular Wheel Cleaning Question

I've been wiping down my wheels with a "detail wax" and that seems to help. Like you, I spray my wheels with Simple Green then wash with the soft brush. After drying the car, I put detail wax on the car and wheels. My detail was of choice is C-Magic. My Vette seems to have the same brakes...

    Open Road Racing

Just got back home from the Big Bend Open Road Race with the following observations: 1. BBORR has a limit of 160 vehicles. 2. Unofficially, there were 62 Corvettes in the race and only 3 CTS V's. 3. This is a 'run what you brung' "Time, Speed, Distance rally" and not really a "race". I can...

    PWC Long Beach

Spoiler Alert! Cadillac Racing had a bad day at Long Beach. Both Andy and Johnny were involved in accidents that left them a couple of laps behind. They finished 22nd and 23rd. Oh well, that's racing.
