I agree. However, GM is giving us full track warranty. Blow your (stock) engine on the race track and they'll replace it! They had to balance the power and warranty.
Thanks for everybody's help! I tried to shift at 6K and it worked! Amazing feeling (that can get you into trouble).
I'm not sure why the owners manual (see attached pic) talks about 3K RPM????
Hi everybody. Help please: I cannot get the no lift shift feature on my 4BW. I made sure I’m on the correct rpm ( owners manual says 3000, but I tried 5000 as well). Gas is all the way to the floor. As soon as I clutch in the engine goes to redline and the shift unsettles the car.
Am I doing...
The dealer told me GM offers 2 types of pads for the 4BW . High performance (see above) and low noise low dust version (I did not take the part number for that).
I was able to confirm with my dealer the following part numbers for 4BW front brakes:
Front pads - 85115921
Front rotors (2 sides) 84938186 & 84938187
Enjoy burning your brakes at the track 😉
I would have thought that PTM wet is more loose compared to no PTM at all. PTM is for additional slip angle and some throttle management during ‘track’ driving
If you are on the fence about PPF, here's a little story for you: I was on the fence as well. Got my 4BW last week and right away did a ceramic coat. wasn't sure about PPF.
This morning on the highway, a landscaping truck in front of me, dumped hundreds of rocks and pebbles all over....with only...
I think the Sotto’s are glorified all seasons. In the past I had no issue in up to 6” snow with my 6gen Camaro SS using Alpins or Bridgestone LM32 ( same category).
Order to be finalized by tomorrow mid day 12-14-21
Mid Atlantic dealer with allocation on hand. $5K deposit. Not for flippers, dealers. MSRP. Carbon fiber 1 or 2 not available. PM me if you can finalize your order by tomorrow and I’ll send you the sales manager info.

Think about GM as a company that works like the government. The marketing department had an annual budget. They better spend that budget up to the last dime, otherwise they will reduce their budget for the next year…I feel for the marketing team, they actually provided a really impressive...
I'm starting to feel like GM is holding cars from the market on purpose....but why?
Amazing how simple communication with customers would prevent crazy conspiracy theories like this one.
