I may try the goodyears with the 265 up front and 275 in back. the michelins do measure wider in the contact patch so i think the 265 up front will fit with the 275 in the rear leaving a bit to be desired....

do you know of any r compound tires that would fit the stock wheels. I'm coming from goodyear supercar r's so I am guessing I will feel let down by the ps4s on track

Does anyone have a preference for wheels and tires for track days. I am looking to do two days at COTA in march and questioning if the stock tires will hold up...

none of the DEF cars are in the 250. its probably just the last three in the VIN. my DEF is 162 for example.

overall it looks great. the matte/stealth ppf from straight on does not affect the look of the paint. It doesn't look as nice from angles though. I'm glad its protected and time will tell if any stains but I will share some pics of before and after and see if you can tell the difference.

I'll get the car back from installer on thurs and let you know. hadnt heard about the staining issues. but the ppf will be ceramic coated so hopefully makes it easy to clean and maintain.

Ive paid $9k for all of this in Austin. They used xpel stealth which is the matte ppf and I believe that is a bit more expensive then the typical clear ppf

you may be right. the badge looks way bigger on the 4 than the 5 so makes sense.

did your installer take it off to put on ppf?

question regarding the rear wing on the 4: is it held on with double sided tape only? if I had a ppf installer take it off then re-install it should I worry about the stability of it in future? I will be tracking the car at COTA often. thanks for any insights/opinions.

the 5's are pretty much the inverse color scheme of 4's it seems

its the xpel stealth ppf which is matte ppf. It doesn't change look of the matte paint. if you really examine a covered panel vs non covered you can spot a difference of sheen if you look at it from an angle but from straight on it looks the same. happy to post pics next week when i get it back.

Posted these in the DEF string already. Took delivery last week. dropped it off for ppf and coating yesterday. I typically only keep cars for 12-18 months but this car may change that trend.
