Spring mountain just released the next batch of class dates for anyone interested. Call for availability and booking if you’re not already on their email list. You can also book on the website, but I wouldn’t risk that since the slot might already be filled but still say available on their website
Hopefully they get some more cars added to the track fleet and are able to schedule more people at a time starting with the April dates next year. The main reason they are filling up so quickly is because they only have 4 of each car right now.
I found what I think is a decent jacking method for the rear of the car. Due to the flooding in Texas, I managed to pick up screws in both of my rear tires at the same time! So I needed a stable way to hold the car up for an extended period of time so I could get Discount Tire to repair the...
Has anyone who didn’t get the front and rear parking sensors had their dealership contact them to get them retrofitted yet? Had the car for over 2 months and nothing yet. Seems like it’s taking a long time especially since all cars coming off the assembly line are getting them again
I think this is a normal feel for the transmission unfortunately. Someone else commented on another thread that 2nd tends to feel a bit crunchy until it gets to temp. I also noticed this early on when I first got the car. Thought I was in gear and the gauge cluster even showed “2”, but I wasn’t...
Apparently you can drive through without the sticker for a while, but eventually they send a letter forcing you to install the sticker or start paying fees.
I think I’m going to try offsetting it on the passenger side of the windshield. It can go above where the PDR camera looks if its not...
Has anyone with a CT4-V Blackwing that has the PDR camera figured out what to do for Texas toll roads? Just got my TxTag sticker and noticed how much of the PDR camera it blocks with it temp installed under the rear view mirror spot where it’s supposed to be mounted.
As an update, I just got off the phone with Cadillac Parts Customer service and they are escalating the issue to their IT department as their website will not show the correct part number for Blackwing lug nuts. They searched by vehicle and by my VIN and never got the correct part number on the...
Main reason I got the GM ones is because I used MyCadillac rewards points to make them cheaper. Hopefully the dealership works with me to just swap them out. @Metal4all6 did your dealer just swap them for the correct part number? Or did you have to deal directly with Cadillac support?
Does anyone know the GM part number for the black lug nuts on the CT4-V Blackwing? I recently placed an order for a set on GM's website and figured everything would be ok, since the order was verified using my VIN and the receipt said they were for a Blackwing. Tried to install them today and...
He stated that he wouldn't have actually launched the car if he had figured out how to use launch control. He's young and just had a kid. They just gave him a reprimand. I never wanted him fired, so I'm happy with their management decision. They did make it pretty clear that there will be no...
Well as an update for everyone. I went and talked to the service manger today about the issue and he said to request all future service directly through him and the car will basically get the "white glove" treatment. The entire dealership had a meeting about this not happening in the future. I...
So I went and talked to the PPF installer and he has agreed to redo the entire job. If the 2nd time does not go well, then I will be getting my money back. I was much more adamant with my expectations this time, even though I thought I was clear the first time.
