    What is it worth?

CT5 V, A10, mid tier seats, sunroof, rear camera mirror, Silver exterior and black interior. MSRP was around $95K when car was purchased a year ago. 3,500 miles. Front end PPF and car ceramic coated. Still has 3 full years of factory bumper to bumper warranty. I'll decide next month what to ask...

    What is it worth?

Just feeling my age (70) and getting tired of keeping it detailed once or twice a week. I had some crazy good times owning and driving sports cars with out any tickets for over 50 years and zero accidents. Feel like it’s time to cash out while I’m still lucky. Some of you older guys might...

    What is it worth?

For several reasons I am considering selling my 2022 Blacking. Factory mid tier seats, rear view camera, sunroof, red seat belts and maybe one or two other small options. 3500 miles. Perfect condition inside and out. What would you expect it to sell for? Will not list it for at least a couple...

How to not suck at driving?

It is difficult to launch. My car is the A10 and I still have not mastered feathering the throttle to keep the tires glued below 30 mph.

    CT5-V New Car, Battery Challenges

Battery tender will be your new best friend.

Newbie question: no crackles/pops on CT5V BW?

So do I! I have learned with the A10, put the car in V model, then when you are slowing down downshift until the engine is running at least 2,500 rpms then when you lift off the gas she makes all kinds of noise.

Newbie question: no crackles/pops on CT5V BW?

Sooner or later you will hear pops and gurgles. And that really seems to be a point of aggravation with you. Either learn to accept and even like it, or avoid buying this particular car.

    2023 Corvette Z06

    Absolutely amazing looking car.

ct5v picture of the inside of the trunk

I attach the battery tender to the leads under the hood. Works perfectly. No reason to overthink it. I like popping the hood open anyhow after pulling into garage. Helps the engine cool down faster.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Installed Blackwing emblem, thank you Cadillac.

Left my rear window open for 2 days

Just make sure to leave all the windows down when the car is garaged or outside in the sun and I bet it will be fine. A fan pushing air thru the back seat would help as well.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

Just for the hell of it I punched in my plate number on Caravans web site. In a minute or so got a message saying something like this: "We are stumped. Unable to give you a price right now but will email it to you once we discuss it with our buying experts" That was 5 days ago, never heard back.

    Random Shut Off

Never happened to mine. But then again I never started it up and allowed it to just idle.

    Front Plate Paranoia

This is one time a phone call or email is the wrong approach. Visit the dealership in person and tell them not to install the bracket.

    Moving hud

Seemed like every time I went for a drive I noticed the hud screen had dropped lower. A press of the button fixed it but why it was happening was driving me nuts. Then I realized the position of the hud was tied into the memory presets. Easy fix. Often times the obvious answer is the correct answer!

    Leather or microfiber steering wheel/shifter?

Leather - dry hands or gloves alcantara - if your hands tend to sweat a lot

    Leather or microfiber steering wheel/shifter?

I had the microfiber on my ZL1 and absolutely hated it. If your hands sweat a lot it is probably a good choice. The wheel was slippery to me with my dry hands.

    Trade for this?

I'll admit. The thought has crossed my mind to sell the BW and get a loaded C8. But for now the BW is still my #1.

    Jacking up your Blackwing

I like the 67 inch Race Ramps. The really nice feature of these ramps is being able to remove the ramp portion behind the front wheels which improves the access for crawling under the car.
