I've owned hellcat redeye challenger, charger hellcat, '20 gt500 & '21 gt500 cftp. The Blackwing doesn't feel faster than any of those. It does have less HP/TQ so that is expected. It outhandles the Hellcats by a mile and is on par with the regular GT500. It can't touch the CFTP GT500 though...
Did the dealer verify the drain tube was there after the trans swap?
I looked under my buddy’s BW and his drains just inside the exhaust pipe between the exhaust and trans. Drip is consistent from that spot. However, his does drip on the heat shield too but I’m not sure if it’s running it’s...
So I’ve got a pic where mine is draining. Anyone with a 6spd able to take a quick pic for comparison? The drip originates behind the heat shields. Got under there and couldn’t see a drain tube anywhere.
So I’ve noticed my 6mt 5BW AC condensation is dripping water on the driver side from behind the trans tunnel heat shield. Nothing on the outside, it’s behind it somehow. Bothers me because that just doesn’t seem right. Should not be running behind the heat shield I would think. Can Anyone else...
I forgot these are LT and not LS engines. I did read the LT4 uses a variable displacement oil pump. So pressures aren’t going to get much higher than 45-50psi or so under spirited driving
I’m interested to see what you get. I’m shocked because I’d figure it would be closer to 90psi at 4500 but it’s a slow rise to 49 or so. Im guessing the LSX engines don’t push it that high.
What is everyone seeing for engine oil pressure at idle (at temp) and driving around 4500 and up? I’m seeing 39psi at idle and 46/49 at 4500 on a 5BW 6MT.
Update
I just read the LT4 uses a variable displacement oil pump. So oil pressures won’t get that high. 25-50psi range on average between...
Oh yeah, that is correct. We ran across a bunch of a Tesla stations out in the wild. We learned real quick the family road trip takes 3x longer minimum with an EV. Tesla is testing out opening their stations up to all mfg’s in certain parts of Europe. This would help a ton if they do so in the...
We love our EV. Amazing daily commuter. Charging at home has raised our electric bill just under $30 and we do a lot of driving around the DFW metroplex (sports tournaments on the weekend). There are down sides, forget about trying to travel outside of a 200 mile radius from the home. The...
Powder coating is a more durable finish, so you will be fine. But I would find my own place and have the dealer pay to get the wheels done at my place of choosing.
Anyone with a 6spd tranny have an opinion on these? I hated having a wet foot and trying to hit the clutch because these all weather floormats don’t dry anything.
