2022 4BW P0446 code

Almost 5 years old. 18k miles. Thru P0446 Evap canister. Replaced a solenoid. Picked up next day. Drove a few miles thought I better look. Another CEL. Gave me an Optiq to drive home. 2 days later, said fuel pump control module bad. Got it back. No CEL. Under warranty both times some how. 3rd CEL a few days later. Now saying gas tank pressure sensor. Not covered by warranty. $1800. GM reduced my bill to $500. Tank comes out. All day job. Get it back next Tuesday. Fingers crossed.

Why wasn’t it covered??? You may want to escalate this to your region’s Cadillac district service manager... Unless you have a tight relationship with your current dealer and that’s worth $500 to you.

4 year 50,000 mile warranty on that part I believe.

Update. Didn’t get it back Tuesday. No communication from dealership since Friday morning.
Update. Had to call to get an update on Thursday morning. Tech needed to take Ruby for an extended test drive. Picked up in the afternoon. I get the feeling that 3 service advisors are not enough to be able to communicate in a timely manner to every customer. Would have preferred an update everyday. Especially since this was the 3rd time for the same P0446 code. Maybe a 1969 RS Z28 DZ302 is in store. Those don’t throw codes.
