Is that from your dealer? It seems real high even with the mileage and year. Todds a good guy, see what he can do.

Sorry for a basic question but, isn’t your car still under factory warranty?I forgot to update here:
I got my extended warranty from Mac Mulkin Cadillac on 8/21/2025 for $4,500 with 46,866 miles on the odo on a '23 5BW. (I currently have 56,560 miles on the odo.) Based on recommendation here, I got it from Todd Sutherland (todds@thompsonauto.net)
The OEM "bumper to bumper" warranty expires at 4 yr/50k miles & the "powertrain limited" warranty expires at 6 yr/70k. I wanted to extend the bumper-to-bumper warranty. The closer one gets to 50k, the pricier it gets to purchase even though the extended warranty doesn't take effect until after the OEM warranty expires.Sorry for a basic question but, isn’t your car still under factory warranty?
My car is 2 years old and only has about 13k miles on it. If I'm reading you correctly, I could purchase it right now and it won't go into effect till the 4yr/50k mark? The OEM "bumper to bumper" warranty expires at 4 yr/50k miles & the "powertrain limited" warranty expires at 6 yr/70k. Thank you!@coffee_time ....No. If you buy an extended (GMPP) warranty, the warranty starts when you buy the warranty, not when the B2B ends
Example: You buy a 60 month/60K warranty....It starts today, expires 4/3/2031....add your 13K miles to the 60K, so it expires at 73K miles. So, you're covered until 4/2031 or 73,000 miles
That may be about to change according to the dealership I bought my warranty from. It’s best to check into this 1year before the B2B expires.GM raises pricing in the spring - so about right now..... Todd usually tells you when.
Also 4/50 must not expire and still be valid for 3 months
