It’s BeamNG Drive simulation.Looks like AI to me
I saw it after the race was over. Drift Metallic. I may have pee'd a little.I heard there was a great Cadillac commercial during the 24hr of Rolex, it was a 5BW doing a pit stop I believe.
Anyone seen it? I want to.
"There is no wrong reason to buy one" is a strange statement. Is there a wrong reason to buy any performance car?![]()
The Drive Awards: The Best Performance Car of 2026 Is the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing represents everything we love about sport sedans. There's no wrong reason to buy one.www.thedrive.com
I suppose if the reason is to mow down a crowd of pedestrians. But that may be discounted if the buyer is a psychopath."There is no wrong reason to buy one" is a strange statement. Is there a wrong reason to buy any performance car?
He makes it sound like tr6060 is done and the next hypothetical CT5BW if they make one might not have a manual option.
I was also confused about his view of the future. I am not aware GM has said one way or the other whether the next gen CT5BW will or will not have a manual transmission.Cool history on the Tremec, but all the "future" stuff is just current fears and speculation. I don't think the BWs would have sold as well as they do if they didn't offer a manual as an option. Even if you're not a manual driver it helps the car distinguish itself as an enthusiast car amongst the other similar offerings and gain attention from reviewers.
If I was in the 5BW market for me it would be Audi RS6 avant or 5BW if I was looking at an auto.I was also confused about his view of the future. I am not aware GM has said one way or the other whether the next gen CT5BW will or will not have a manual transmission.
I agree that many people who own a BW do so because it has a manual transmission. You can count me as one of them. If I wanted an automatic, I had many good choices. Wanting a manual, I only had one good choice.
Also they needed at least some gas economy. I think they said it was like 15mpg average but when they weren't stuck in traffic they were seriously breaking the law hitting well over 150 from Colorado onwards.Because it's cheaper. Lol.
Solid run.
True, the CT4 is thirsty enough, I can't imagine feeding that 6.2L.Also they needed at least some gas economy. I think they said it was like 15mpg average but when they weren't stuck in traffic they were seriously breaking the law hitting well over 150 from Colorado onwards.
I don't know how they fit everything they needed in the back seat after turning the trunk into a second gas tank. It's pretty interesting the lengths they have to go in order to get on the "scoreboard."
