Interested in your install experience, you bought the ats-v plates? My understanding is you need longer bolts for the top mount to clear our strut tower bar, but it otherwise fits out of the box. Can you tell if that's correct? On my short list for the off-season.
Yes, I bought the ATS-V camber plates. Needing the longer bolts is what I've heard.

I also recently got sway bars, Swift Spec R springs and SPL toe links. Hopefully everything goes in next week.

Lastly I've ordered 18x10's with 15mm offset and 18x11's with 45mm offset. I'm going with 295's and 315 tires. The tires are going to make a huge difference.

That'll be spicy! That's pretty much a best of options for our platform without going to coilovers. Do you know that 295 fits? I've seen 285 on 18x10, only a little rub but okay for track use.

You need a lot of camber to make them work. I'm going with 3.7 front and 2.1 rear. In the back you need to remove the rear shock dust boot and trim the edge off the upper bumper cup as the tire can hit it and get cut.

Opps! Don't forgot the Camaro solid rear cradle mounts.

Hoping to have the new setup ready for VIR November 29-30th. Join me?

I'll be looking for a Black Friday deal on GiroDisc rotors for the weight and better cooling. Looking at the current wear on the OEM rotors, replacement is not an "if", it's a "when". Why wait, might as well do the rotors now while I'm actively tracking the car and save the OEM rotors for the cars retirement from racing years.

Solid cradle mounts not inserts? Do you have a product link? The Camaro guys love the BMR inserts but I was told they don't fit the BWs. I think my offseason suspension stuff will be limited to camber plates and the toe links.

Thanksgiving travel means no chance for that VIR date. I wish! Based in Central Ohio and car season is wrapping up in the next month or so. Mid-Ohio next weekend. That might be it for the year.

I have the giros upfront, got nasty pad deposits from stock pads on the stock rotors and replaced the stockers. Probably will add giros to the rear this winter. I've used carbotech track pads this year XP12, the pads only last about four track days but they are gentle on the rotors and I'd rather replace pads than rotors. No perfect pad. But so thankful not to deal with those nasty pad deposits and vibrations again. It was bad.

Is that vir video you? It's wild. Crazy grip and left foot braking. Very fast driver.

I'm using Porterfield R-4 pads front. Still have OEM pads rear, but will install Porterfield R-4S in rear when the new wheels go on. Very happy with their performance so far.

No, not me. That is the John Heinricy in the final laps of the 2023 SCCA T-2 Run Offs. Here's the full race

I'm putting together the same setup as Heinricy's car is running in the video.
