I’m aware, I am looking at Gen 2, 2019-2020 which are supposed to have fixed the oil consumption problems. I’m also a Ford senior master tech so I can take care of any repairs and maintenance (and get parts at huge discount).

No performance concerns but a loud clunk/bang over certain bumps is enough for me to be disappointed in a $65,000 car. Couple that with the intermittent AC issue. Small update if anyone cares. I requested a buyback on the vehicle, my Cadillac case manager felt it met the criteria. I’m waiting...

Unfortunately no luck. I have a customer support case with Cadillac and they’re trying to get a field service engineer involved for me.

I’ve seen that one, I made the original thread it was posted in. They only showed the noise in the video, not how to fix it.

Did you ever get that noise figured out?

Do you know how to adjust it or where people have had luck doing it? I’ve searched on this forum and on google and can’t find any information

I tried the local Cadillac and Chevy dealer. Cadillac tried three sets of rear shocks with no change in the noise. I have a customer assistance case open with Cadillac and I’m trying to get them to send out a field service engineer. I took the right rear sway bar end link off and it felt fine...

Thank you guys for the pictures! Unfortunately looking like that spring angle is normal since all your cars appear to be similar to mine. Really hoping to not have to pursue a buyback since it’s been in 4+ times and the dealer can’t figure out the noise.
