I believe 'rock guards' behind wheels are what you put on Subaru's. These are not brake ducts.

Item 1 in the diagram appears to match the deflector in the photo you posted.

I can only speak from my experience with a PP car. The brake ducts were installed; the tire deflectors were not removed; the special rear toe-links were installed. I do not know if any of these items were installed at the factory or by the dealer. There is a link on a thread here somewhere...

In order for the duct to properly work as intended, the Front Tire Deflectors would need to be removed. See Page 177 of the 2026 Owners Manual.

Be aware that they can end up directing rocks and road debris into the brakes and wheels.

To clarify, for CCB only the 'Front Tire Deflector' needs to be removed for brake cooling.

Top duct is for Cadillac; bottom one is for Camaro ZLE
