I'm just a tad under 6 ft (possibly shrinking as I get older) but I can drive reasonably comfortably pulling my seat up enough to let a decent (not too large) passenger to sit comfortably behind me. Fine for short to medium length trips but I wouldn't want to do it for longer trips - both for my...
I agree that the very tight rear seat area is less than ideal and occasionally its an issue. We're used to small cars and less than ideal room in the back but it confounds me just how small it is even compared to our BMW 3 series and GTI.
The GTI - which benefits from being FWD has the most...
Oversized. I've only had 2 CELS with it - both tied to quick re-starts after stopping in somewhat cold & damp weather. Cleared one myself and the other went away on its own pretty quickly.
I have to say I'm very satisfied with the performance. A few weeks back I kept even with a Lambo Urus from...
I think we were a bit hard on Argent Wing. Seems to me he was just asking if any of us had any interest in older cars....a pretty harmless inquiry I think.
Anyway - I've only owned and still own one vintage car - an un-restored 1964 1/2 289 4 brl Mustang Convertible with around 58K miles. Its...
Maybe a little over a year ago Zygrene reviewed the CT 4 V BW along with a 2017? V-8 Camaro (don't remember which one) and his new Integra-S and he wasn't entirely positive. Well he just re-reviewed a CT 4 BW - this time one with some JB4 power mods and he has corrected his review to being...
I have to say it works pretty well. So well I'm not thinking to do anything more - power wise - for a while (if ever)....though I'd love to tune it further at some point. The extra punch is undeniable when you push it....very nice to have....otherwise seamless and runs just as smooth as stock...
Yeah I did (along with ported throttle body) but with no tune or JB4 or anything and I'm very happy with it. Noticeable (significant) power up top WOT and seems to rev a bit faster. Got a few codes ear;y on (twice)....cleared and none since. Car seems quite a bit quicker. Install was...
I had this same problem with my drivers window a few months ago....happened a few times but hasn't re-occurred since....part way down wouldn't go back up...but could go down further. After a few minutes worked normally again. Interesting that others have had this exact problem.
Back in the day I used to tell friends of mine who bought a Prius..."perfectly good car for someone who might otherwise buy a Camry" ...now - for folks considering a Tesla or such I say "perfectly fine choice for someone who might otherwise be driving a Prius"
Now Prius's and Teslas are fine...
The used car idea for a 2nd car commuter is a good recommendation IMO.
Along those lines I would recommend a used Mk VI or MK VII GTI - available with MT and can be had fairly cheaply. They are fun and practical cars that can easily be made much more fun with suspension and power mods. Our MK...
Well you could always trade in the 5 for a (MT) 4...you would save on gas and still have a comfortable car that might also give you more opportunity for fun in mundane commuting situations.
If you weren't adverse to SUVs and non MT (I concur BTW) I would suggest a Porsche Macaan might be a fun...
Mustangs are all good - for what they are - and can be great fun. So the Dark Horse - with full R compound and larger tires along with perhaps a slight HP and gearing edge gives it the win - well Kudos for that.
However - as we all know - there is more to a good performance car than flat out...
