This by passes needing the cars wifi ,so you now can use any app on your screen. I mostly bought it for my waze app.

I did mine over the weekend reason for me posting it, you no longer have to pay gm for the screens wifi. I concealed my service and my waze app no longer worked, so I found this solution and it works great even netflixs works.

It's plug and play and uses your cell phones wifi.

So i got sick of how the shifter was always dirty "suede" so i ordered a real carbon fiber shifter.

The new mirror plugs right into a blank slot behind the mirror. there is one wire that you need to run from the fin to the mirror for video. The other 2 fin wires are plug and play ones satellite the other radio.
