Something interesting to add here....When I went to Spring Mountain lasts July and my oil temps hovered around 300 degrees, the PSI would drop to single digits. I saw 9 PSI at one point FWIW. No issues with the car either day I was there.
I was under the impression that the LF4 used 5W-30 from the factory. With that said, my temps vary pretty drastically depending on use. I also have the 192F during everyday use, but any spirited driving definitely makes the temp go higher than 201F, with autocross and track days sending it way...
I did the Cadillac V-Performance Lab at COTA a few years ago and they gave each participant one of those and a nice soft-shell jacket. Mine isn’t signed and I use it for my autocross helmet now. Nice stuff though. I’m jealous!
Can you tell me who you’re having do that work? I’m waiting on my Track Edition to be built and shipped there and don’t wanna really drive all the way back to CO unprotected.
My Sebring Track Edition TPW moved from 1/23 to 2/13, so I feel your pain. I hope it doesn't take a year, but I'm not getting rid of my current 4BW until I know this one is coming, so that's a relief.

I think you're missing the point. You and others think that the track package option is just some crazy GM upcharge for nothing, when, in reality, you're getting more, and more exclusive stuff for only a very small upgrade cost.
So, yeah. Just priced this exact build up online and the MSRP is $87,260. Of course that doesn't even include the carbon-backed seats, or the "unicorn sparkle interior" or the "gold-leaf decals." All said, a ~$1,600 price difference for the carbon seats alone is worth it to me. Not to mention...
