congrats. Probably might not have been able to get a CT5 with precision package, from what I heard they only do a limited amount of those. But maybe that was for the initial 2025 run in February.
Not sure. The letter I was shown was dated July 18th. I do not know when the wind event happened.
my 2025 wasn't built until first week of June.
It could also just be that any quality control issues are taken extra long due to demands on the QC team from the wind event too.
I'm wondering if you're in the same boat as me.
My car was caught up in a wind storm and it is in a holding area needing assessment on if it was damaged or not. If not damaged then it will ship. My car was ready to ship, but has sat in Lansing for over a month. I just recently found out I am...
I'm a fan of 60s and 70s european cars and some 70s american cars. Helping my dad build is 65 Elan made me a huge fan of those types of cars and the Colin Chapman way. Unfortunately that was many years ago and these pictures of a photograph are all I have of it.
I'm not sure I'd want to drive...
Doesn't work, I tried it earlier. The car is on the dealers website as "in transit" and says 2025. Unsure if that window sticker is 100% since the car is in holding and not delivered yet. Been in holding for a month. The car the dealer ordered at the same time (almost identical build) was...
I'm wondering if my car is going to be a 2026 since it still hasn't been delivered, but is built and at holding facility. Mine was built at the same as yours (@mrpaw). How did you know it was changed to MY26?
I've seen dealers with MY26 4BWs, so it is hard to believe my car that isn't...
I always try to be polite and use please and thank yous so when the robots eventually take over they might spare me some heartache since I showed them respect before their uprising.
Ngoni is 100% right on this. A friend of mine who does a ton of Jeep videos struggles with people having their lights on in videos because it creates a big distraction. He's trained me well to not have my lights on if he is filming me. Sometimes it makes cool artifacts like in that video, but...
Seems like you lucked out. The damage doesn't look too bad, I wonder if a dent removal guy can fix that. I've seen them work wonders on fenders and such where they can get access to the interior side, never seen them do anything with a roof before.
