The back emblem is not flat, the right and left side angle away from the center. If this Blackwing logo is flat on the adhesive side it probably wouldn't sit nicely against the trunk bridging the center

If I was in the 5BW market for me it would be Audi RS6 avant or 5BW if I was looking at an auto. Having less available funds for a car, the 4BW & M3 were manuals I was picking from and if you start looking at auto trannies there are so many options it would be an interesting shopping adventure.

I heard there was a great Cadillac commercial during the 24hr of Rolex, it was a 5BW doing a pit stop I believe. Anyone seen it? I want to.

oh excellent. I remember not being able to find other sources citing the info and it was the only source. I did not know GM Authority was seen so highly. It wasn't a source I had read from prior.

I don't remember the source, but GM did confirm there will be a replacement 5BW, but 4s are end of production in June. IIRC 5s will end production at the end of 2026
