Suprised no vendor has yet offered to paint these to match the body colors - that would look terrific.

Looks to me like there was some debris in this groove just as it was painted. Look at the small nubs in the paint below the affected area. If the debris was not just a solid (like something that had a solvent or oil residue) that could explain both issues. Fortunately, it's in a low visibility...

Thanks - There is no way the painted FOB is going to survive my keychain unchipped and unscratched after a few weeks.

Are people using PPF to protect this?

Are the colored fobs only included if you ordered the CC brakes or on all BWs?

That's great news... I am holding off buying any of this stuff until my car is delivered but good to know it is getting easier to locate these parts. There was a suggestion earlier that your car had to come with the CF packages to get these parts - did your dealer suggest they had to...

Not arguing but this was also said about C7 Z06 without CCBs (the need for sensors, etc) and Katech and others had no problem retrofitting… sounds like it is a bit of work, would still like to consider this at some point.… because I am crazy :)
