Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

CT4 BW ---> CT5 BW

Congratulations, I think you made a great choice!

For whatever it is worth, Coastal is one of the few colors I think should not have red calipers. If I ordered that color, I would stick with the no-charge grey color, or if I got bronze wheels, maybe do bronze calipers. I am not a fan of 2 vivid colors together, and red on coastal is exactly that. If you really miss that detail, a powder coat shop can change them for you.

Regardless of these little details, the 5 offers an entirely different driving experience than the 4. It just depends what you prefer. I am a 5 guy all the way. Did a nice 40 miles yesterday on mine, and as always, I grin ear to ear when I am driving it. There is nothing else like it.

Well I ended up trading. Thanks for the help fellas. The interior is not that big of a deal after driving it. 😆 Need to get the tint fixed than off to get a paint correction and ceramic. I also need to get rid of the front license plate holder. I'm hoping it's not drilled in.

Here's both after the trade. View attachment 32679View attachment 32680
Congrats!

Congrats, absolutely love the color!

Does anyone know if it's possible to track down previous owners? I would like to find out some specific things about the car but have no idea how to locate a previous owner.

Check the registry to see if it's listed¿
It is but it had no previous owner info. I also checked the v forum members list with no available.

It has a little weird history. Was shipped to canada after being built. Stayed there for 6 months than went to Arkansas for the one owner. Then it went to Pennsylvania for an auction after 7k miles.

Maybe ask @Rob if he has more info?

That's what I'm slowly building the Registry for. Give me the last 8 digits of the VIN

R0860719

I had you switch this to me as the owner a couple of days ago after I bought it. Hoping you can see the previous info
I don't have the previous owner information, but the car was built as a Canadian Export and the first owner took delivery of the vehicle, in Canada.

Thanks for the info and help Rob!

@JLayer i just joined this forum as I’ve been thinking about making the move to a 4BW and have been reading all the things I can in the last day and I realized the car you sold is one of the cars I am thinking about getting. Just wondering how your ownership was and if the car had any issues? How was your overall experience with that dealer? And if you feel so inclined to share your sell price on the car for some haggling power I’d owe you a beer one day! Also, still original tires on the car I assume?

I’m leaving a Giulia quad because I want a manual!

Congrats on the big boy 5!

The car is in perfect shape. I'll argue that it's still just as new as factory arrival. It got a 5yr ceramic coating and a paint correction before I picked it up in Dallas along with the wheels. I also had ceramic tint installed. Due to Texas rules I couldn't go any darker than 35 though. The coatings warranty should switch to you if you buy it. I left the paperwork in the glove box.

It's had oil changes. One at 1k and the other around 4k. There's been no problems mechanically. There's no mods done to it. You'll see a bass knob for an aftermarket sub down by your right leg. I took the sub out. I was running out of time so I left the knob.

It went through the long haul on Hot Rod Power Tour in 2024 and I drove it home from Dallas. That's why miles are a little high.

Other than that, it sat in the garage unless I wanted to drive it. My 15yr learned to drive a manual in it. He loved driving it.

With the tax incentive, they gave me 60,990 for the trade in. That place seemed easy to work with. The pre installed options were taken off after some convos. Just an fyi, you can't pay cash for the car or get financed on your own. It has to be through them. He told me why but I wasn't really paying attention.

If you need anything else that I missed just shoot me a pm

Here's the last picture I took of it where it usually was parked.

Interesting note about the financing. Appreciate the heads up! They’re asking $64,300 so really not too bad.

Glad to know about the ceramic coating so I don’t take the time to do it myself.

Really appreciate the help! I’ll post a pic from my garage if I end up with it!
