Blower lid sound deadening plate

AI says our Blackwings utilize "active noise cancellation". If true, I'm wondering If anyone has disabled said noise cancelation?

removed mine and I didnt notice a difference

I removed mine and same, can't really notice it in the car but my said he definitely heard it from outside the car. My car is currently at CSP just installed Kook's headers with green cats to go with Kong X-port blower and 103 TB I already had installed. They are tuning and trying next smaller blower pulley and both intake tubes 4" (stock size)& 5" that requires tune from JLT air box.
I'm thinking between airbox and pulley, whine should be noticeable
