Wow, didn't mean to piss on your Petit party. My point was that there is no difference performance wise between them but ultimately they all could have the same problems. If one decided to join your cool club but didn't get in with us regulars, they might miss some important info about their BW. I had my 5 in my dealer last week and they offered me their Monstre for a trade. If I had the option for the blue carbon when I ordered my 5, I'd have been all over it. They are super cool. And yes, a T-Type and a GN are the same IMO. Had you opted for a GNX, I might have a different response. Now go be special with your Le Monstre.

Been trying to order the Le Monstre for a year. Willing to pay cash or finance it so the dealer can get their quota. General Manager. at Jerry Seiner Cadillac in Salt Lake’s exact words were I’ll never get an allocation for that, despite the blacking, escalade and escalade V I bought there over the last 2 years. Went down to Provo, Utah cadillac and at least the Gen. Mgr. there made the effort to call his boss, the regional got involved and spoke to his corporate rep and they’ve been actively trying to get me one. I even wrote in to GM, showing them the pics of all the GM cars I’ve bought over the last 20 years. Camaro’s, Z28, IROCs, SS’s,ZL!’s, ZL1 LE’s, etc. and yeah zero luck.

Clearly you were upset that you couldn't join a club for a car that you don't own. You tried to denigrate the edition by saying that a dealer offered it to you for your car implying that it was special. Obviously nobody was going to offer a straight up trade but you didn't give details b/c you wanted people to think that they did and hoped nobody would call you out on it. Otherwise you would have said, "They offered me $83K for my 5BW but I didn't think it was worth it". FACTS. If you had said that in the beginning this would have ended there. EVERY dealer will make you an offer for your car. When I bought my first V they offered me a trade for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Saying something like that is saying they offered you gap insurance. You chose your words carefully b/c you wanted to obfuscate the situation so that the casual reader would think, "Wow! he must have some Blackwing!" while also trying to minimize the Le Monstre when clearly you don't have anything special. I just wanted to force you to show that you don't have anything special. As someone who owns a "special edition" 4 I would've thought you would get it. Did you buy that car to be like everybody else or did you buy it b/c it was a special edition?

Your lack of being able to comprehend why people who own a limited edition model would want to have a group limited to those owners and your low-brow sticky note only prove to me that I gave you too much credit to begin with. I got no dog in this fight... I've been eye-balling the Le Monstre since announced, scouring for part numbers as I loved the blue CF parts and the flat grey exterior... I even went so far as to order one of seat belt retractors to check the blue on my BW... unfortunately the blue hues are way off and would look like crap on an electric blue...

Its perhaps the only other BW I'd trade mine for at the moment even though I hate that digital dash setup and dealer markups, homie don't play that... Post them pictures though.

For the record, my "special edition" IMSA is just another BW4 with some bullshit stickers, just like your holy grail monstre. I only bought it because I was bored with the Heep I was driving at the time. Local sale for a decent deal. Hell, I don't even have the special edition mirror caps or the decals on it. I guess you got me though. I'm just here to complain about special people that can get into a monstre and I don't have the ability.. Gonna go cry inside one of my non special Blackwings now..

How much was the belt? My my2026 order is with blue calipers & the costal blue, I'm curious how these would look instead of black belts.
