CT5-V Leather Seat Bolsters Looking Worn but Brand New

CT5-V Model
Here's how my 25 looks with about 1500 miles on it, picked up in Feb and there were a couple creases already on the tan section.

I'm not overjoyed with it given how much the seats cost, but I'd say it's well within the realm of normal for leather seats. If it gets significantly worse or starts to peel in any way, I'll take it up as a warranty issue, but the only way to keep the seats perfect is to not sit in them!

If you want some pictures to look at from a MY22 daily driver with 19K miles on it you can see mine here. Someone was asking about tan/black seat so I posted pictures of mine. They look as leather should in my opinion.

I'm guessing the leather on the thigh bolsters have some slack built into them to support the way the thigh is adjust (going up and down, filling the area vs. the kidney bolsters that "fold" in/out). Mine looks similar to the pics shared previously.

Looks pretty normal for me, others here (including me) have posted “worse”.
In quotes as I think this is, as ai put it before, just the natural beauty of the leather.
If it were “perfect” it could be mistaken for vinyl.

The creases or wrinkles we see could be a multitude of contributing factors related to the following:
a) of how big one’s behind may be relative to the width of the seat. Not all are created equal 😉
b) bolstering may be on the narrowest setting, preventing proper glove seating for the driver
c) how one may enter (& exit) the vehicle, i.e., improper weight transfer while sliding in and out.

Unfortunately, that crap is most likely pigmented leather. The middle sections are of actual quality Semi-aniline leather.

Maybe it's a "tan" thing. Here's the left side of my drivers side. The right side the the drivers seat doesn't have a crease in it.
