... but I was pleased to see this on my new, 1,000-miles-on-odometer, 6 speed blackwing. I alternated between cruise control and snow/ice mode. Flat Florida road. Tip: if you are ever on a boring highway and just want to get the best milage possible at whatever speed (and don't want to use cruise control), put it in snow/ice mode. This reduces throttle sensitivity (to reduce slip in slippery conditions) so less gas will go the engine during those unavoidable small throttle movements while trying to hold a constant speed.
