Has anyone had any issues with not being able to tint the windshield due to the front camera? Was told it can't be done without recalibration from the Dealer

Thank you, was going off what the tint shop told me

They are putting the tine on the inside, right? Then, the tint won't cover the camera, since it will go around the housing the camera is in.

My 75% was done with no issues.

75% tint on windshield. No issues with HUD or otherwise.

Haha. whoa. 5% in the front? you must not drive at night.
Typical sunglasses are 10 to 20%, I can’t imagine 5% on the front, this must be a joke. No way the Police would let this slide, it’s way to obvious.

No no. Like it only blocks 5%. It's nearly clear.
So it’s 95% transmission. I’ve never heard of that, usually the “air” front windshield tints are in the 70% to 90% range. The windshield by itself is usually around 80%. What is the tint brand you have.

50% ceramic tint on my windshield. No HUD issues nor re-calibrations needed.

Thank you everyone for the input, just got my windshield tinted today and no issues. Appreciate it!!!
