2023 CT5-V Blackwing, 2013 CTS-V
I am getting close to renewal time on my policies and just wanted to ask around to see who my fellow Blackwing owners utilize for insurance and what their experiences have been like since I haven't done any major shopping around in the last 6-7 years. I have the Blackwing on a single-vehicle policy with OpenRoad, but for the majority of my vehicles (including my 2013 CTS-V), I have them on a Grundy Multi-Vehicle Policy (MVP) which requires at least one daily driver-type vehicle being on the policy.

But I am having growing concerns staying with them after reading more deeply into their coverage and how restrictive it seems to be as well as their response to wanting to add my Blackwing to my current policy - they refused to classify the Blackwing as a specialty/collector vehicle despite its limited nature and would only insure it as a general-use vehicle at 2x-3x what a specialty vehicle policy would run. When I mentioned the limited nature of these vehicles, their verbatim response was:

"While the vehicle is limited, it has 4 doors and is not a show vehicle. Just a very nice sedan, its also too new to be a collector."

Which, understandably, rubbed me the wrong way - especially considering they already insure my CTS-V as a specialty vehicle which, while I'm not great at math, also appears to have 4 doors.

I'd really love to have all of my vehicles - daily use and specialty - under one policy with an annual renewal basis. Who are you all using and what are your experiences?

Neither the BW nor the CTS-V is a specialty/collector vehicle and wouldn't be for some time still. Not sure how you got them to classify the CTS-V as such. Perhaps because its out of production.
I am basically switching insurance (home and auto) insurance providers once a year as I am getting significant annual increases and being forced to shop around. Bouncing between Geico, Travelers, Liberty Mutual and State Farm. Others have not been competitive.

Erie is one of 3-4 companies which has a new oem part rider. Rest try to use used or aftermarket parts.
