What do you have that's blue?

My condolences.

My wife always jokes about that Eiffel 65 song with me because everything I have is blue. The car is blue, my house is blue, I painted my garage walls blue...

A few weeks after this picture was taken, the tree in the background came down in a storn and crushed the back. That led me to place the order for my '22 electric blue 5BW.

That was quite the looker. Fully Monaro badged?

Monaro complete front bumper new from Australia(one of the last ones in holdens inventory supposedly), all new oem monaro badges including CV8. Oem monaro taillights, new oem side fender marker lights, holden centercaps for gto wheels( I didnt find monaro wheels yet). custom "monaro" blue gauge face, gauge cluster reprogrammed to holden startup image, monaro passenger dash badge, oem holden steering wheel air bag cover, and spoiler delete. I also had a k&n intake, magnaflow catback, and ls7 clutch. It was a fun car, but wasnt worth fixing. I sold all the holden parts as a package deal, then sold the rest basically as an ls1/t56 donor car.

I had my SS all badged out too. Even got the airbag shipped from Australia (I think they had to send it by boat). I was even going to get the dashboard CPU changed over (they were doing this at a place in Michigan).... Then I got rear-ended by a teenager when I was stopped to make a left turn into my neighborhood (2 blocks from home) in the snow. Man, I loved that car!... Even had more leg room (both front and back) than my 5bw!

I worked a bit on cleaning the garage today and saw blue everywhere I looked.

It’s always cool having something unattainable, the Holden badging is awesome.

An interesting reverse of that is, in Australia, some Holden owners badge theirs in Pontiac or Chevrolet livery to have something different than the other Holdens!

Nice! I used to own a GT350 as well. Put nearly 40k on it in 3 years, such a wonderful driver's car. The passenger experience is nothing to write home about, which ultimately led me other pastures...
I also had a GT350. I had the same experience you did. Great driver’s car but my wife was not a fan as a passenger. She likes the BW much better. Posting relevant photo as it had blue stripes.
