I just re-capped posts from the end of last year.

Does your garage have HVAC ?

Also curious if you drove a Lyriq. They're one of the most attractive crossovers available, and once you're up to 30 or 40 mph, its very quick.

The V will only have 100 more HP, which is only 20% more. I bet the main difference is a different computer profile that lets you access the power quicker at lower speeds. The regular AWD Lyriq seems programmed to actively prevent drag races. :)

The upcoming Vistiq would be worth checking out too. It has same power as the Lyriq V, yet has the same wheelbase and width as the Lyriq. Plus it has a 3rd row of seats more storage space.

Just looked it up (unavailable on Cadillac.com), and if Google is accurate, learned that the Vistiq only weighs about 500 more pounds. That's same power as Lyriq V, same price, only 10% weight penalty, and lots more space. And if you like the 'lectric Escalade's looks, you'll love this one.

Just busy at work... I'm doing well, lost 70 lbs and can fit back in my old military BDU's Other than that nothing new...
I lost 30 pounds (from 217 to 187) and I will NEVER fit in my 1980's BDU's. I can't believe that I was ever that skinny.

Just checking in......No, my garage does not have AC and that sucks! My wife and I are thinking about the Lyric and the Blackwing King is trying to sell me on one for sure...

Electric cars still scare me and I'm not sure they are for me..

He's back!

As I think I mentioned earlier in the thread, I had a Lyric loaner for a few weeks when my BW was in for service and waiting for parts. I really liked it for what it was, i.e. a large, comfortable SUV. I took my family on a small road trip in it and it was great on the highway, super cruise works well, tons of space for a 6' tall teenager in the back. It doesn't charge as fast as our Tesla but fast enough, and it isn't as quick off the line, but quick enough (maybe the V fixes that). It has a pretty relaxed vibe to it, i.e. it's not an electric BW replacement.

We recently got the Lyric's platform-mate, a Honda Prologue, as a replacement for our Tesla. If you are looking to save some/a lot of money, the Acura ZDX is the same thing as the Lyric with slightly different detailing, and as of 2 months ago the ZDX was leasing for less than half of a comparably equipped Lyric.

Thanks, my wife and I will look into the Acura....
