Sell the RDX and her car and get her a more luxurious SUV for road trips and Costco. Either way it doesn't sound like you need (3) cars.

I do 100% of the driving on road trips, but I LOVE to drive.

The main scenario is we go on a long drive etc and you take the most luxurious car. If she can’t drive I’m basically stuck driving the car for the entire trip.

If you have space in the garage for 3 cars, keep what you have. If not, the suggestion to sell hers + RDX and upgrade her ride sounds like a win-win. That would probably go a long way towards her approval to get you the 6M 5BW next time as well.

Nothing wrong with auto. Especially for a daily and if you live in a crowded place like Cali. Plus the auto shifts faster.
