You may need to be in the car to activate on star…otherwise anyone with your VIN can just activate service remotely for those who never activated onstar.

Yeah - this guy makes content akin to what you would have seen on MTV 20 years ago, just for another generation. He's a Mitsubishi dealer in NJ that sells exotic cars and adds drama to it at every turn.
