2024 CT5-V Blackwing, 2020 CT6-V (The Original Blackwing Engine)
All,

I sold my CT6-V Blackwing (VIN: 1G6KW5RJ9LU107404) to a reputable dealer last week. Whoever ends up with the car is getting a great one. The dealer plans to clean up a few cosmetic items (mostly front bumper rock chips) before reselling it.

Not sure where it’ll land, but if it shows up in your area and you’re in the market—go for it. I put a ton into maintenance over the past few years: brand-new suspension all around, all engine soft parts replaced (spark plugs, belts, hoses), fresh differential fluids—everything down to the details.

Even had the wheels refinished for $1000 and had brand new 255 series Michelin 4s tires installed right at the end.

The car’s in near-perfect shape despite 80K on the clock.

Just wanted to share here and vouch for it!

@CornerMan ...What did you think of your CT6 V? I absolutely love them and wish I bought the one that got away in 2020. I still look at low mile preowned ones. I'm on the fence as to whether or not to buy one.

I really liked it! In fact, I had half a mind to keep the CT-6 and the CT-5 and drive both but I found myself ALWAYS jumping into to CT-5. I didn't really have the garage space and it was a lot of extra insurance, so I let it go.

Some things I liked BETTER about the CT6-V over the CT5-V:
  1. 4 Wheel Drive - I am convinced the CT6-V is actually faster light to light on the streets with the added traction.
  2. 4 Wheel Steering - Very Cool feeling in the corners and amazing turning radius.
  3. Comfort - The 6 was much smoother!
  4. Unique / Rare - It's a bit of a unicorn compared to almost any other car.
  5. Great Interior Space and Leg Room - I am big guy so this was important to me.
  6. Size/Presence - It's a big car, but it still looks aggressive. It sticks out on the roads!
There is a longer list about things I like better about the CT5-V but that is what I luvved about the CT-6!
