Good afternoon, would like your opinion. I am looking at a 2018 CTS-V with 106,000 miles for $51,000 or a 2012 CTS-V coupe with 32,000 for $36,000. I previously owned a 2012 CTS-V coupe until the dealer totaled it. I loved it. I am leaning towards the coupe because of the low miles. Which one would you go with. thank you in advance

Was the coupe just sitting around...or did they still care for it regularly (they have records?)

That is a very good question. It is at a dealer and they have had it for 3 months.
I mention this only because I'm going through it right now on my '09 (with 80K miles): on the '12, see if they'll put it up in the air for you and check out the front lower control arm bushings (may as well check the upper control arm and sway bar bushings while you're at it). From what I've been able to gather across the forums, it's not uncommon for the V2's LCA bushings to deteriorate and crack, leading to the creaks and groans I have been hearing at low/parking lot speeds.

GM doesn't make the parts anymore, so I initially bought a set of LCAs pulled from a '14 coupe that looked great in the website pictures, but the bushings ended up being just as bad as the ones I'm trying to replace (am now replacing them with new units made by Moog). Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thank you for the information. I will do that.

I did some more research and found out the 2012 CTS-V was in an accident and was repaired in the front. The 2018 was not.
