Does the PDR interface with the rear camera?

No, it's forward looking only as I recall. There's a surround recorder I've barely played with that I think captures rear view but I believe it only works when the car is at rest?

Yup. The PDR has its own dedicated forward looking camera and doesn't use the other cameras on the car.
