V-Series Cadillac(s)?
'11 V Wagon, ( '13 427 Vette & '21 Vette)
Just got back home from the Big Bend Open Road Race with the following observations:

1. BBORR has a limit of 160 vehicles.
2. Unofficially, there were 62 Corvettes in the race and only 3 CTS V's.
3. This is a 'run what you brung' "Time, Speed, Distance rally" and not really a "race".

I can see why Vettes are the most numerous since they provide the best performance bang for the buck. There were several mustangs, Porsches, BMW's, Cobras, etc.

Of the Cadillacs, there were 2 V wagons and one coupe. None of them took home a trophy.

Granted, my wife and I drove the Vette this year and left the V at home. Had we brought the V wagon, there would have been "3" V Wagons and one coupe. Seems the wagon owners like to show off the ability of them in venues like this.

With the new ATS and CTS V's coming out and the existing Vsports, I'd love to see more Cadillacs in the open road racing events.

If we could get 10 Cadillacs, we could create a "Cadillac Racing Team" and compete in the team events as well as the individual events.

Until next year.
