New CT5-v Blackwing

Hi, received my blackwing 2 weeks ago. Was shocked it had 40 miles on it already! Has anyone else had a similar experience? The dealer said miles were put on by Cadillac prior to delivery for quality control issues, not sure if I believe them.

I've seen this on a couple Corvettes that came in from the factory. While it's rare to see that high of mileage...it does happen. @Mirza Grebovic took your Blackwing on a pizza run!

Bill it can happen with quality control. If it came off truck that way be assured no shenanigans were done with car. Plant has to drive cars once in a while to ensure quality on road is good.

Bill, @Mirza Grebovic is correct. I've seen Corvettes arrive off the truck with mileage on the odometer between 25 - 45 miles. The protective covering is removed from the driver seat and steering wheel but the car's outer protective wrapping is still on the car. QC will randomly pull a car off the end of a production line and conduct additional on-road QC to evaluate assembly line production and quality. It's a good thing!
