2026 CT5V Blackwing
Hello fellas. Just picked up my CT5V Blackwing tonight. 2026 with precision package. In the trunk of the car in 2 sealed boxes were 2 of these silver pieces. I think they are rear toe links? Anyone know for sure what these are and why they would not be installed? Is this something track specific or did the dealer forget to install?

Anyway car is awesome

Track specific toe links - only needed for getting aggressive with the camber. As you drive faster, camber will become very important.

I would argue otherwise, the toe links are a big improvement over the al dente noodles on base models regardless of use. They are a dealer installed item that is supposed to be done at PDR and I would strongly recommend you have that done.

Do they need to do an alignment after?
We've found that most Blackwings aren't aligned correctly from the factory - so I'd strongly suggest having the alignment checked and adjusted to spec with or without the toe link swap done. :)

Air deflectors were in trunk on my26 non PP BW.

Familycar772 get your car from Pepe? Was the yellow one there or sold did you notice?

this was all that was in the trunk.

Good eye Kevin, I did get from Pepe. The yellow one was there but had a sold sign on it. Interesting color for this car

Thanks for the info, been keeping eye on nationwide 2026 yellow 5BW as i own one and seems not many built this year in cyber yellow, when i went on their site saw yours listed on there also. Got mine from Otto in Albany

It’s a cool color. It was in the showroom, I bet it looks very different in the sun.

Off topic but before I start a new thread - anyone use anything to protect the seats with an infant/car seat in back?

Weather tech has rubber mats you can lay over the seats, there’s nothing to really stop the foam from indenting if you permanently leave the car seat as synched tight as it should be, but it does help. I often loosen the straps in my vehicle to to minimize it
