New 4BW owner with question about steering

Hello guys - I recently picked up a new 2026 4BW to sit next to my 5BW. I really am enjoying the 4BW but I have noticed that the steering seems to have a slight delay right off center when turning the wheel. In longer sweepers, it results in me having to make a correction right after the initial turn-in, like the corner is taken in two steps. My first thought is a problem with the toe setting but I am almost wondering if there is an issue with the steering rack. I was able to drive a friend's 2025 4BW last night and his steering seemed more linear than mine and he drove mine and noticed the same thing. My car tracks straight and drives well otherwise. We did a cursory check of the suspension on my lift last night and didn't see anything loose. I plan on getting a good alignment done on it soon just to confirm.

Has anyone heard of any issues with the steering rack causing this delay? I would appreciate any input.

Final(?) update: the front toe was waaaay out of whack and uneven side-to-side. Had them put track alignment on the car and it seems to be pretty much perfect. Had my friend who has a 2025 4BW drive it and he agreed that it seems pretty much perfect now. Whew. Hopefully that is the end of that.

sounds like alignment, but I will share my similar story:

I noticed my steering just felt uneven and funky, and turning into a corner didn't feel super dialed. Then I checked my tires and noticed whoever replaced them switched front/rear tire sizes. Absolute bush league shit the dealer hadn't noticed (and it is my fault I didn't think to check before I bought it).

Now it's soooooooo good.

That's pretty funny. I actually test fit the 5BW wheels and tires on my 4BW this weekend and I can confirm the 4BW wheels were in their correct front and rear positions!

And yeah if a front wheel can also be used on the back, then that means buying an extra front wheel/tire will work as a spare in any position.
