I have no experience with them other than they are forcing shipping insurance on the buyer:
Route Shipping Protection $13.20

EZSpare is an alternative. I havne't bought one but, arrrgh, I might cave, for a roadtrip.

I used one of their kits on my GT350 that I had. It was well made and all the pieces did their function. It came with the spacers too. The tire was a Pirelli. I’d say it’s a buy if you drive in places with no cell coverage or tow service.

I used one in my 2020 BMW M5 and it fit perfectly and gave me piece of mind when I was on a long road trip. If I ever do end up with a CT5 Blackwing I will be ordering one.

I have one for my 4BW. I planned to put it in the trunk for long trips, but I find it easier to just leave it in the trunk. There's still adequate trunk room for most of my needs and I can borrow my wife's SUV when I need to haul more. I haven't needed to drive on it, but I've used it a couple times while changing tires. I'm reluctant to leave two corners on jacks and there's no room to use jack stands (that I can find) so I put one corner down on the spare.

TIP: if you use Rennstands, you have a built in jackstand where you lifted it on the pinchwelds. It has made my tire rotations easier and safer.

Looks like some people have had a good experience as you can see from the feedback on this thread. I don't have any feedback or personal experience but I'd say go ahead and try them out if you feel it's going to be useful for you in the long run.

Good luck.

I have one sitting in my trunk. To be completely honest, I never tried it out to see if everything works/fits like it's supposed to because I relied on others' experiences. I guess I should put it to the test & put it on the car some time this week since I've got some time off coming.

Same

I ordered their jack for my M5. I didn't bother with the donut because I feel it doesn't really help. If you can't fit a full-size wheel in the trunk, what are you going to do when you have a flat and put the donut on, but now have to find a place for your full-size wheel? If I'm going to be far from home I put the jack and one of my alternate season wheels in the trunk. Takes up a ton of space so I don't do that often. I've had many punctures over the years but they were always fixable at home. This weekend I had to repair both left side tires (screw in one, nail in another).

Yeah, that is something you might not think about-the original tire has to go back in the trunk. Could be an issue, if on vacation and the car is already packed full. As long as I don't blow a bead, I hope that the plug kit I carry will save the day.

Well, maybe someone is going to have to ride with some luggage on their lap for a spell, but I fixed it myself and we're out of this road side stressor in 30 minutes instead of 6 hours, or worse, no cell reception (which out here in the west is a LOT of area).

The front wheel and tire might fit in the trunk but my rears definitely won't. That's when you lay down the backseats and put the full size tire there.

Passengers can hitch hike per the agreement signed before they boarded. Have to have priorities straight.

Anyone have first hand experience with this spare kit? I found an old thread but couldn’t find anyone who has actually slapped this thing on.
I bought their kit for my cts-v. I verified that I could both jack up the car and fit the wheel on both the front and the rear. The tire just barely fit into the spare tire wheel well. I think they do their homework. (I left it in the car when I sold it.)
