Missing underbody aero on brand new 4BW

I was snooping around the underside of my new 1-month-old 4BW and noticed that I appear to be missing the following aero components in the front:

• Driver side outboard canard.
• Passenger side inboard canard.

See the image below with arrows indicating the missing components (image taken from another Blackwing).

I'm assuming this is a factory mistake as I have not hit anything on the road, and the canard mounting points and thread holes are flawless showing no damage from being torn off. I've already emailed Sewell Dallas and hopefully they can sort this out for me. Might be just another thing to add to the pre-buy checklist that's floating around on this forum.

It sounds like you have CF1, and if so, you should have those flexible plastic deflectors. I showed those on an older thread Carbon fiber PN database.

Non-CF has one, the second is added for CF1 as I showed with green and red circles.

I got the front splitter parts today; splitter, and both underbody air deflectors. I also ordered the screws and clip nuts off Amazon. Looks like 8 will be needed total, 3 each underbody and 1 each for the lower connector of the carbon air deflector. I'm still wrestling with the idea of getting the bumper cover for the dive planes. That represents a lot of extra work and cost, but they are also the most unique element of the aero package.

The splitter was dated 7/26/22. The underbody deflectors are a semi-flexible rubber/plastic material.

I don’t have any CF packages.

What’s odd to me is the asymmetry. One outboard and one inboard canard missing.

Yeah that's wrong. A non-CF car should only have the innies, but not the outies.

I’m guessing the line worker just got confused and installed the wrong part. No biggie. I’ll get it fixed.
