Magnetic Ride vs DSSV

It's hard to beat a well tuned MR setup. The only downside to MR shocks is that as they heat up on track the viscosity will change and so will the damping. I can't say I ever noticed it in a 20-30 min HPDE session and I believe the later MR cals actually have some sort of compensation built in for fluid temps.

I plan to put a DSC Sport controlled in my BW as soon as they have one and have run it in all 5 of my C7s. If you want something that uses traditional shim stacks and valves look in to the Tractive shocks. They have a computer controlled valve that the DSC Sport controller can dynamically adjust in response to driver inputs and car movement like the MR system. I run that combo in my C7 race car and I know a couple of folks have replaced the DSSV setups in their 1LEs with it.
