FYI, installing the Infinity Personalized Sound app on my 2025 CT5 works (I assume it will also work for 2026). It gives you full equalizer control and also has a test where it will determine a personalized EQ setting for you by playing sounds. You do need to grant the app permission to adjust the audio settings but the app will prompt you to do that once you have finished the sound test.

Interesting. Contrary to a lot of opinions, I think the sound system in the 4BW sounds great, especially after adding a sub. I’ll look forward to testing this out.

It looks like this is only for Google built in systems. Only for 25+ 5BW.

I had the same issue. I am not sure if it was me fiddling around with something or if it just took some time, but it eventually went into the setup mode with the test tones.

I was able to get it to work. Used the long press of the start button to put the car on but engine off. Then opened the app. After I couldn’t figure out how to get the test to start, I hit the car start button again and that somehow caused the app to trigger the ability to start the test procedure.

Even if someone doesn’t like the results and setup from the test, we now have a 10 band eq!

My phone says the app is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy s25 ultra

It is not a phone app. It will not work via CarPlay or Android Auto mirroring. You have to download to the infotainment unit directly. Which means only 2025-26 CT5.
