Let me present to all of you my observations on this.... EVERYONE these days wants something, and they want it NOW.
We live in times when that is no longer realistic.
In the last two years, I've seen this growing...lust to have everything you want, now. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, it's time to wake up and adjust your sense of reality to understand that you're not going to get what you want, when you think you should get it.
This whole notion of instant gratification needs to come to an end. Unfortunately, thanks to the internet and companies like Amazon, it will never happen.
If you want a Blackwing built to your specs, then place an order, have a seat, and be PATIENT. Why would you want to settle for something that isn't exactly what you want? So you can get it quicker and be able to say "look what I got"? Is that brief moment of Fame really worth sacrificing what you really want?
Sorry, if I'm sounding negative or belligerent, but I deal with this ALL day long across multiple car lines.
I can't even imagine placing an order right now for a Blackwing and tracking truck and rail car numbers. I'd fling myself off a cliff before I allowed that to happen.
Life is too short and there's more important things to focus your attention on.
Order the Blackwing you want, the way you want, sit back, and remain patient.
As the saying goes: "all good things come to those who wait". Unfortunately, that concept was lost long ago along with the ability to communicate with someone via a hand written letter.
