Has CT5-BW production stopped?

Thanks! Been there man. When I was speccing my Porsche they’d stopped a number of options I was dead set on, like CCBs and contrast stitching. In the end I still bought the car and realized I did the right thing. In the following year they raised the price of the car and made the manual transmission option more expensive by making the automatic “standard” and the manual a “no cost option” (before, manual was standard and automatic was a $4000 option). I love that car to pieces so I’m hoping the sting of losing out on the color I really wanted will fade once I get my hands on this monster.

I decided to go with the PS4S, because sometimes it does rain in LA. Plus the PS4Ss on my Porsche seem to have enjoyed decent longevity.
When were you speccing it? And what model? Interesting CCBs ceased to be available, unless that was a temporary supply constraint or the end of a model's run.

Fair enough. I'm fortunate enough to be able to choose what days/weather conditions I take the 5 out, and I bought the car for the fun factor first and foremost, so Cup2Rs just fit the bill, even if a spirited drive in the hills does not take full advantage of the grip they provide.

Did your dealer offer you any separate warranty packages for things like key fob replacement, windshield replacement, tire replacement?

My initial spec was about 6 weeks ago and included CCBs and a coast blue paint. When it was submitted last week, the only thing that bounced was the coast blue. It was at that time that I switched over to argent silver and added the full precision pack with PS4S. That went through fine and the CCBs were not a constraint.

The dealer is offering an extended warranty and a few other things. I turned down the windshield replacement warranty. I might ask about tire and wheel replacement since those are things that have paid for themselves on my Porsche given how many nails and other road hazards I encounter in my typical LA driving. They were also going to add a bunch of BS protection packages and an alarm but I'm PPF'ing the car so none of that is going to be in my final deal.

I should add that I am getting the PPF done through a dealer-affiliated shop. The rate the shop quoted for full-body STEK + ceramic on interior and exterior surfaces was pretty good so I decided to go with them - it actually cost only a little more than what I paid for my Porsche, which is a much smaller car.
