Was wondering that myself. Best guess is full capacity is reached when two CT5V’s roll off the assembly line per week.

Oh it’s a joke alright but it ain’t funny! I’ll be at 12 mos in about 2 wks or so. I’ll probably be able to spec magnesium wheels by the time my order gets in.

I've pretty much given up. Gonna ride out the 2022 model year, then probably cancel the order. Looking at a few other things. Have a lead on a gorgeous 2019 CTSV at a very attractive price if he pulls the trigger on selling it. Might just trade my SUV for a BMW X5 M50i. Found a few of them new and preowned, priced and equipped pretty well. I'm just kinda over it, sadly.

I'm guessing youre trying to get a 5BW. How about getting your hands on a 4BW for now to wet the palette, keep your 5BW order and trade/sell the 4BW when the 5 comes in? In this market, I doubt you would lose much on the 4.

Yes, a 5BW, with CF1, CF2 and carbon seats. I've kicked around getting a 4BW too, but is that "settling"? I don't know. I'm just frustrated by the whole thing. Even thought about dropping all the carbon, again, settling? Dealer is no help. I know more about this whole process then them. They assure me they will get an allocation after the one "that has been built" is delivered. We know how that goes with the parking lot of doom.

You're just driving the 4 until the 5 comes. That's not settling, that's entertainment.

Your dealer doesn't work at the factory....There were more Blackwings built last week that what your dealer is telling you....

I agree about that. I actually wonder if the 4 really is the better car? More balanced, more "useable" horsepower.
