All this work to become a GM employee and I manage to pick a GM car with no employee pricing lol.

My wife and I wanted New couches and a new mattress. That's like $6k right there. So I figured use the GM Rewards card, pay it off right away so there's no interest. But every $5k is $600 off a car.

So I am thinking I can easily get $1200 off by the time my BlackWing is ready.

Am I missing something here with this plan?

Check with your dealer but I’m pretty sure they don’t accept GM Card points for the BW either.

That's just mean! I've got nothing to lose as I can save the points for my wife's lease if they C-block me on the BlackWing.

The only reason I have the card is signing up for it got me $750 off my CTS lease lol. I literally never once used the card in the last 3yrs Ive had it.

I have an older GM rewards credit card and had no problem getting up to the redemption limit off. I think it was $1500 but yes it should all be in the terms on the website.

Not the rewards you get for purchasing things but the GM rewards credit card points. They are 2 different programs with a similar name.

I am talking about actual credit card points.

I also have my Cadillac rewards and had enough points to get $400 off our CT4. But I only have 11k points right now after redeeming 40k for her car.
